We’re looking for beta testers for the Android version of “Train Quiz” (駅地図), a quiz game where you locate Japanese railway stations on a map!
In Train Quiz, you’re given a station name and asked to find it on a real Google Map. It’s a fun way to discover Japan’s vast railway network while sharpening your geography skills. We’re currently running a closed beta and would love your feedback.
What is Train Quiz?
You’re shown a station name, and your job is to tap the correct location on the map. Each round teaches you a little more about Japan’s railway lines and regional geography.
- Simple gameplay: Just tap the map to answer
- Learn while you play: Pick up knowledge of Japanese rail lines and geography
- Bite-sized: Each question takes only a few seconds to a minute
Participation Steps (2 procedures required)
Registering as a tester takes just a few minutes. Please follow the steps below.
Step 1. Join the Google Group
First, join the test community.
Step 2. Register as a Tester
Tap the “Become a Tester” button on the linked page.
Step 3. Install the App
A few minutes after registration, the app will be available from the Play Store.

It may take 10–30 minutes to appear. Please wait a while and try again.
What We Ask of You
- Duration: About 2 weeks of play (if possible, please keep the app installed for about 1 month)
- Tasks: Checking usability, reporting bugs, sharing improvement ideas
